Comedian Mitch Hedberg has died at the age of 37.

This is Philomedy, observing a moment of silence, and posting a quiet bit of reverence for the man I consider to have been the funniest, most absolutely brilliant comic that ever set foot on this Earth. If you are not familiar with him, I suggest you google his name, as his web site's account has been canceled.

That's all I have. Mitch will truly be missed.

Scratch that, I didn't read the link until now.

He was a very funny comedian, very offbeat. That's very shocking to hear.
